IF IT RAINS ON COMMUNITY SERVE DAY, this project will still take place.

San Diego Rescue Mission strives to spread the good news of salvation through Christ through serving the needs of the poor, addicted, abused and homeless. This Community Serve Day, join us as we assemble personal hygiene kits and make fleece blankets to be distributed through the Mission to men, women and children on Easter Sunday. 

All ages are welcome, so this is a great family project!

For this particular site, we will be making No-Sew Fleece Blankets and putting together Hygiene Kits. We ask for you to please sign up to bring the following supplies to Debin Hall on Community Serve Day to help operate the the making of No-Sew Fleece Blankets and collating of Hygiene Kit items for San Diego Rescue Mission:

Hygiene Kit Items Needed:
- shampoo and conditioner
- soap
- lotion
- toothbrush and toothpaste
- deodorant
- hair brushes and combs
- razors and shaving cream
- feminine hygiene products
- nail kits
- Q-tips and cotton balls
- socks
- wash clothes

Fleece Material Needed:
- in 2 yard increments to tie together to make No-Sew Fleece Blankets
- (Wal-Mart - best price)

Drop off locations for these items can be found on the patio on Sunday mornings and at the church office.

Please wear your Community Serve Day T-shirt as you will be serving in Debin Hall on the Solana Beach Presbyterian Church's campus. Don't forget to bring some water!
